Tell us about yourself
Nigerian French-Canadian Singer-Songwriter born in Montreal, Canada boasting of a sonic palette that is just as diversified as my multicultural background.

⦁ What influences the art/music you create?
The multi-cultural background I grew up around definitely influenced a lot of the music that I make now because I grew up around very diversified cultures ranging from French Canadians to French Africans, to Arabic’s to Caribbean’s and Nigerians as well as travelling around the world. All these things out a very young age was something I grew to relate to myself as a being and I soaked it all in like a sponge and I believe it translates into my music now.

What genre or style are you sticking to ?
I don’t really believe in needing to stick to any particular style but rather stay true to the blend of sound I have created and like to call “Afro-Fusion”.

⦁ What sparked your interest in making music?
I always admired music generally. It moved me emotionally. And once I saw the movie “SuperStar” Starring Molly Shannon; I believed that I would be a superstar and there was no questioning it. So by the time I was 8, I started writing songs with beats in my head and never really stopped making music from then.

What projects have you released or planning to release?
I’ve released over 21 songs thus far including one EP and one 10- track album with multiple singles (my latest one being “I PRAY” ft Sean Kingston) and there will be a few single releases going into summer followed by a 20-track Album in early fall. So stay tuned!

What keeps you motivated, what is your creative process?
Experiencing the joys and fun in life has always sparked the most inspiration for me but of course due to our circumstances since 2020, I really needed to start looking inwards to find that motivational push every day. To recount my blessings and understand my purpose and what I need to achieve, keeps me going; I won’t stop till I get it.

What more to expect from your brand in the future?
We are planning to showcase a lot more than just music. My purpose generally is to be a relatable and impactful influence for people to come to. That doesn’t stop with my music it only begins there. I am also an actor and plan to showcase of a lot more of my artistry in its entirety through acting performances, behind the scenes footages, beat production and so much more.

⦁ Who are you eager to collaborate with?
Man…. That list is very large. However, to name a few in no particular order; Burnaboy, Masego, Wizkid, Dani leigh, Alicia Keys, Amaaree, Rihanna, Jhene Aiko, Santi and so many more.

It’s super casual. But when I want to, I’ll flex on everyone.

I guess liquor if I had to choose one.

How do you uplift yourself spiritually and mentally?

By taking breaks from everyone and everything and doing things that purely bring me joy. Like watching funny shows or just socializing with my friends like were back in high school and have no worries. I think its important to always be in tune with the child in us. It keeps our innocence alive and our motivation to deal with our everyday, a little easier.
Connecting with God is also very important and understanding my purpose through him, keeps me spiritually at ease; I am following his plan for me.

What impact do you plan to leave on society?
That you never need to be anything less or MORE than who you are. No matter how complex that might be for everyone to understand, you know you. That should be all that matters.

My father (also my manager)
