SKRT Magazine catches up with artist Flacco Slimm on our mellow #SKRTview segment.

He talks his style, influences, his creative process & more exclusive to

Tell us about yourself

I was born in Aj Lagos, Nigeria. I love music and grew up in a family that appreciates it. And now I’m an artist and a producer at World Wide Gangster Records. I’m an open book for real.

What influences the art/music you create?

My life experiences, situations I’m facing and my early love for hip hop and everything it came with back in the day.

What genre or style are you sticking to ?

I’m sticking to hip hop. Trap to be precise. It’s just me.

What sparked your interest in making music?

My brother Sosa and I used to freestyle since we were kids. We were different. I knew since early on it’s what we here for so ya know.

What projects have you released or planning to release?

Slimm’s got only one song out from 2020 called 2020. I don’t wanna get into deets of what I got coming but you could expect a lot more music hence.

What keeps you motivated, what is your creative process ?

I just roll up, get on my computer, cook up a beat and get it in. I don’t know if that counts as a creative process, but aye, it is what it is.

What more to expect from your brand in the future?

Projects. A lot of em.

Who are you eager to collaborate with?

I’m not all that eager to collaborate with anyone yet, cause I want the people to know what I’m about first. But if I could feature any artist today, it’ll be 2 Chainz.

What is your fashion sense saying?

As long as the price ain’t shroud, the fit is good.

Poison of choice?

A pink rozay blunt and a lil rum.

Describe your social & romantic relationship status?

I don’t relate to the question so good.

First Date Ideas?

She gotta come up with something good.

Favorite whip/car?

A 57’ Chevy bel air.

Vacay country/countries of choice ?

Sinaloa, heard the weathers beautiful and the waters nice.

Soda or Water?

Water, keeps your skin fresh.

Workout routine?

Lift a little weights and then hit the punching bag.

How do you uplift your self spiritually and mentally?

Meditation, making beats, recording music.

What impact do you plan to leave on society?

I don’t know. I just wanna be able to help anyone who’s in need.

Who is/are your mentor(s)?

Jeezy. His music is therapeutic.

Give a quote(s) you want to be remembered by?

When life gives you lemons. Take the next mans too.
